RANDY LINES BSc. EE, Dipl.T Civil, CPP

Randy is a seasoned and highly qualified physical security consultant and practitioner.   His background, inclusive of working in the national security environment and defending against the highest level threat actors for decades.  Randy provides InterVentis Global clients with discreet and highly qualified services, for those clients requiring the highest level of physical security solutions.   

He has spent over 35 years in the Physical Security Industry as an Engineer, Consultant, and federal police officer.  He has supervised highly specialized technical teams for most of his public service and private enterprise career. He has a proven track record for developing innovative solutions to technical problems designed to protect organizations, corporations, and individuals from the threat of the ‘human element.   

Randy has been recognized as an effective communicator, especially in high-stress environments.  Randy served in numerous technical capacities within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police developing expertise in both offensive and defensive physical and electronic security measures.  He has developed security tools, training, and techniques that have been shared internationally with police and public safety agencies.  

Randy holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.  He has conducted and guided more than 300 vulnerability assessments on facilities from residences to commercial buildings to government facilities. Randy will bring effective solutions to tough Physical Security problems.   This includes incorporating his decades of experience in mitigating the ‘human element’ threats through technical solutions.   Randy is based in Vancouver and can travel if required.
