Tim is a seasoned leader in government contracting, business strategy development and crisis management with over two decades of experience spanning military, non-profit leadership, and strategic risk consulting. A former member of the Canadian Forces, Tim served for 13 years, including a deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan, in 2008 with a convoy escort unit. Upon returning to Canada, he worked with the Vancouver Police Covert Intercept Unit doing intelligence collation and monitoring.
Tim’s dedication to operational excellence extends beyond risk management. Holding a master's degree in counselling psychology, he co-founded the Veterans Transition Network, securing government and private sector funding to support veterans’ reintegration. His work in government contracting and large-scale business development has positioned him as a trusted strategist in navigating complex regulatory environments.
During the fall of Afghanistan in 2021, he directed a multinational group of contractors to facilitate the evacuation of Afghan interpreters, a mission that required securing government funding and overcoming significant bureaucratic challenges. Having worked in politics Tim was able to rely on his expertise in public policy and governance to be effective on an important and complex project.
